SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS 2008/2009  

 

 

"The most wonderful thing about the successes was that they came in so many different areas:  football, netball, tag-rugby, cross-country, athletics and, of course, cricket.  This has meant that there has been a larger than usual number of children who have experienced that 'winning feeling'.

 

  

We always celebrate sporting successes in front of the whole school and this clearly has a positive impact, not just on the recipients of the congratulations, but also on the children who are inspired by the achievements of their peers.” Mr Mawdsley - Deputy Head

 

SALISBURY SCHOOLS PARTNERSHIP GIRLS 7-A-SIDE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT WINNERS

Our team now goes through to represent Salisbury District in the Girls County Finals in January.  It is the first time that Salisbury District will be represented at county level in this particular tournament!
